What is SRO Simcha?
SRO Simcha is a professional Jewish event band, branched off of Standing Room Only. SRO has been one of the most in-demand event bands in the Chicago area for more than 25 years, performing at over 1500 weddings, galas, corporate events, and celebrations of all kinds. Lead vocalist, Yoni Eisenstein, has performed with SRO for nearly four years and has extensive experience as a Cantor, Jewish musician, and Wedding Singer.

How do I choose songs for my chuppah?
We provide curated playlists with a wide variety of chuppah and ceremony music options to help inspire you. If there’s a specific song, niggun (wordless melody), or song that is meaningful to you both religious and secular, we would be honored to learn and perform it for your ceremony.
How big is your band?
The size of the band is scalable, we have packages as small as 6 pieces and go all the way to 15 and beyond!
Are there any hidden charges?
We provide a clear and transparent breakdown of every service included in your event package, and all pricing is fully disclosed in your contract prior to booking. Depending on availability, there may also be options to extend the band on the day of the event for an additional fee.
How far in advance should I book the band?
We recommend booking at least 6 weeks in advance to ensure we have adequate time to prepare every detail of your event perfectly. For busy seasons and high-demand dates, earlier booking is always recommended to guarantee availability.
How flexible are you with music choices?
As a full-time working band, we maintain an extensive and constantly growing repertoire to make sure every client gets music that feels personal to their simcha. Our Jewish repertoire includes music from artists such as Mordechai Ben David, Mordechai Shapiro, Omer Adam, Ishay Ribo, and Avraham Fried, along with traditional simcha music, Israeli dance music, niggunim, and modern Jewish hits. In addition to our Jewish repertoire, we also have a library of over 400 secular songs spanning pop, rock, Motown, funk, classics, and modern hits — with new music added every season.
