Ashley Hamer (aka Smashley) is a saxophonist and writer living in Chicago, where she performs regularly with the funk band FuzZz and jazz ensemble Big Band Boom.  She also does stand up comedy, sort of, sometimes.  Her tenor saxophone's name is Ladybird.
